As of right now, these are just ideas I'm throwing out there. These are not final, yet. These changes reflect mostly real-life conference situations, but also some geographic changes, too. Owner skill levels have not been taken into consideration, yet.

- I'm not sure how I feel about having Pitt leave the ECC since Pitt has been there since season 2.
- Arkansas and Alabama not being in the same conference seems a bit odd.
- ECC would be an extremely tough conference, Big South would be the lower-skill conference.

Here is a geographic map of the TCS teams if anyone wants to give their input: Google map link

seems good to me. not sure how much more geographically aligned you can get with 6 teams in each division.

Just my opinion but loiusville who is in Kentucky and was part of conference USA 5 years ago before moving to the big east, should be in the south and my blue devils who are in the ACC I feel should be in the ECC just my opinion.... You r doing a great job and if u see different then me its all good baby.... Can't wait to start :D

I think Tennessee and Arkansas should swap for Virginia and Duke, than I would get my token chance at beating Florida...

Move these teams to:
Big South: Ark and Ten
Big Six: Virginia
Ecc: Duke
Midhorn: Wisc and Louisville

Even tho i'm probably throwing myself to the sharks going to the big six

Championships: The field “Championships” is too long, a maximum of 100 characters is allowed.
Binghamton in the ECC scares me, but maybe that's just because I can't beat LordSummerIsle.

Louisville doesn't make sense in the ECC. I would swap back Binghamton and Louisville with Pittsburgh and Penn State.

I was leaning towards moving Louisville out of the ECC, but why do you say that it doesn't make sense for them to be in it? They're in the Big East in real-life.

louisville is in the big east but I believe its because Rick Patino would not coach a conference USA basketball team so when the Big East expanded the Cardinals put in there bid and landed there dream coach...

To be honest there are teams out there where most I feel are in division they should not be in in real life but if you want to be in the BCS you got to A. play tough non-conference games
B. play tough conference games

Thoughts on this layout?
- ECC stays close to what it was last season. Louisville is in the Big East and joins an Eastern conference in TCS. Penn State is a Big 10 team and joins the appropriate Big 10 conference in TCS.
- Big 6 has all of the Big 10 teams in TCS, and it has the "almost Big 10" team of Notre Dame.
- Midhorn has the western teams and the teams that just don't fit anywhere else.
- Big South has all of the SEC teams in TCS, and it has the "we want to be in the SEC" team of South Florida

Each conference would have 1 team leave and one team join.

ECC
UConn
Holy Cross
Louisville
Penn
Pittsburgh
Syracuse

Big 6
Binghamton
Michigan State
Notre Dame
Penn State
Slippery Rock
Wisconsin

Midhorn
Duke
Oregon
St. Thomas
Texas Christian
Utah
Virginia

Big South
Alabama
Arkansas
Florida
Georgia
South Florida
Tennessee

i like this more because you found a reasonable way to keep Pitt in its conference.

This most recent post of conference alignments represents the official conference alignments. They are now reflected on the site. The schedule for weeks 3-10 has been generated to accommodate.

Duke in the Midhorn? Tennessee made way much more sense.

Tennessee being in the Midhorn makes about as much sense as Duke in the Big South (SEC). Duke in the Midhorn doesn't make sense, and why would we take a real-life SEC team out of the SEC-themed Big South and move them to a conference that isn't the most appropriate. We could have two teams be in conferences that don't make sense, or we could have just one.

Swapping Duke and Louisville might have been a good idea since Duke is in the ACC, and Louisville is an oddball for the Big East anyway (and is geographically close to the Midwest). The ECC isn't really ACC-themed anyway, though. The two ACC teams in TCS are not in the ECC. The ECC is seems closer to a Big East league anyway (with four ECC teams being in the real-life Big East).

In any event, in the interest of not having another marathon off-season (and this one is getting close to that), we should just continue with the current alignment since it's not terrible.
