NE drives inside MN territory to start but the drive stalls and they settle for a FG. Minnesota receives an onsides, but Vinny goes 4 and out. Manning and Co. make quick work and a few runs by Holmes makes it 10-0. Vikings convert on 3rd down for a 1st down at their 30 when TSBs modem craps out.

FFW 1 week.

Vinny works his way downfield and gets inside the Pats 10 with about a minute left in the first half. On a picked play 2 Vinny stupidly throws the JJ route and its a JJ interception for the Pats. But his momentum carried him into the endzone where he was promptly tackled for a saftey! Vikes recieve the kickoff but there is no time for anything but a return.

Vinny puts together a drive that eats up all of the third quarter and Dillon takes one to the house on a nifty move. 10-9 Patriots. Pats then put together a clock eating drive of their own. Manning overthrows a wideopen receiver in the back of the endzone on fourth down though and Vikes are back in business. Vinny goes for the heave and hits Pickens at the Pats ten, then breaks the human grapple (can you say laid down?) and he burns off as much clock as he can before going in with a minute and change left. (should have laid down myself in retrospect and settled for FG). 16-10

Pats hit a nice JJ deep with enough time for a couple plays. First play is picked and second play is a diving CC in and out of the hands of Manning's target.

you should never "settle for a fg", this is tecmo and everyone is one 80 yd jj away from the Win

I was just saying I may have been able to burn up the rest of the clock with 1st and goal with a chip shot FG. But real-time I was thinking "ooh ooh I'm gonna score". Only had presence of mind to run around as long as I could without being touched.
