Both teams lost their running backs to injury, but David Garrard had his best day of the season going 8/9 for 163 yards and 3 TDs, threading some completions on called plays, as well as rushing 8-42 yards, while the Saints had 28-192 yards rushing as a team. The Steelers couldn't get anything going passing until the second half, scoring on the first drive of the 3rd quarter to make it 28-7.
