This has been brought to me so I thought I would put it to a vote...

To let a Db's play the linebacker position. Please vote yes or no, you may leave an explanation but it is not needed.



Being a commish I try and make the rules as fair as possible. Some people(s) think this is a good idea but I'm strongly opposed. We will end up with a bunch of free agent linebackers because of people putting safeties or a db in that position. We will also end up with a shortage of db's for their natural position. At the end of the day i say NO!

I don't like it and I voted no! But, if you say no to this then wide receivers should not be able tp play running back as well..........Jerry!

I agree that we should not allow DB'S to play LB - maybe it's a throwback thing but LB'S were always meant to be fast, mean and tough (i.e. Derrick Thomas, Mike Singletary, John Offerdahl just to name a few). I think it would be funny to see Anus Williams playing LB and getting blown up by Christian Okoye.

Simple.
We are finding that DL have become despensible since being allowed to put LB there. I didn't like this either but it happened. Now someone wants to put DB as LB. NO GOOD. Lets work inside moving out.
DL are now useless and no one is going to draft them
LB will now have less value. What does this do to an elite speed LB and an average LB?
DB become saturated and people will find that defending the pass is now hard....why is it so hard to stop long ball passing...this is why.

Side comment. I don't know which one of you idiots thinks this is a good idea. Your not thinking straight. All your thinking of is how fast would I get through the line with....Lott (example). Well, think of this. If derrick thomas is a beast and gets bounced, wtf do you think will happen EVERY TIME a DB gets hit on the line. Give your head a shake. This is bad for TFL and ultimatly bad for who ever thinks this would make them better. I would almost like to say yes so I can pass the ball right down your throat.

If it's so bad for the person who wants to do it, I say let them.

If the best defensive player happens to be a DB and the favorite position to work out of is the LB position, because it gives the option to blitz or drop back into coverage then the problem is solved.

The league has spoken, a DB will be unable to play the LB spot. Thank you all for voting.
